High yield strength
HRB400 Steel Rod adopts hot rolling process, through heating, plastic deformation and cooling process, the internal grain structure of steel is refined, and the yield strength is improved; the silicon content in HRB400 is controlled at 0.2-0.8%, which helps to enhance the yield strength and stability of steel. At the same time, the phosphorus and sulfur content is controlled within a maximum of 0.045%, which reduces the damage of impurities to the material structure and improves the strength of the material; the yield strength of HRB400 steel bar reaches 400 MPa, which is higher than HRB335 and can maintain stability under higher loads.

 

Excellent tensile strength
The composition of HRB400 Steel Rod is optimized, containing appropriate amounts of carbon (0.17-0.25%) and manganese (1.2-1.6%), which increase the strength and hardness of steel. Manganese not only improves the tensile strength of steel, but also enhances toughness and wear resistance; the tensile strength of HRB400 steel bar is 540 MPa, ensuring more effective resistance to tensile stress in the structure and improving safety; since the elongation of HRB400 steel bar is 16%, it can deform moderately even under high stress to avoid brittle fracture.

 

Composition optimization
HRB400 Steel Rod contains 0.17-0.25% carbon, 1.2-1.6% manganese and 0.2-0.8% silicon, with a reasonable ratio, providing good strength and toughness; the phosphorus and sulfur contents in HRB400 are controlled within 0.045%. The low content of these impurities reduces the generation of brittle phases and improves the ductility and impact resistance of the material.

 

Corrosion resistance
The phosphorus and sulfur content of HRB400 Steel Rods is controlled within 0.045%. Phosphorus and sulfur are harmful impurities. Higher content will increase the brittleness and corrosion of steel. The steel bars contain 0.2-0.8% silicon, which plays an antioxidant role in steel and can form a protective oxide film to slow down the occurrence of corrosion. The manganese content of 1.2-1.6% increases the strength and hardness of steel. The hot rolling process not only enhances the mechanical properties of the material, but also improves the density of the steel surface.

 

Wide range of uses
HRB400 Steel Rods can be used in reinforced concrete structures of buildings, such as foundations, beams, columns and floor slabs, to enhance the tensile strength and bearing capacity of concrete; in water conservancy facilities such as dams and levees, they can be used to reinforce concrete structures to resist water flow pressure; they can also be used to reinforce industrial buildings and equipment foundations to support the installation and operation of large-scale mechanical equipment.
