Advantages

Excellent anti-corrosion performance
The surface of the Crane GI Wire Rope is formed with a zinc layer of 30–70μm thick by a hot-dip galvanizing process, which can effectively block the erosion of moisture and oxygen. Compared with ordinary steel wire ropes, the galvanized layer improves their corrosion resistance by about 30%–50 %, which is particularly suitable for heavy-duty lifting conditions.

Strong load-bearing capacity
In order to meet high-load applications, the product uses 45#–80# high-carbon steel from Baosteel, Shagang, and other factories. After cold drawing and heat treatment, the tensile strength can reach up to 1960 MPa.

Strong flexibility
Crane GI Wire Rope adopts a 6×37FC (fiber core) structure, which is composed of thicker and thinner steel wires. Its minimum bending radius can reach 15~20 times the rope diameter. It can withstand more than 500,000 bending cycles in dynamic work, which is significantly better than the traditional 6×19 structural wire rope.
